They become close, and through this friendship Kurisutīna becomes aware of the cruelty, injustice, and emptiness of the world around her. Suddenly, this person disappears, leaving behind only words that linger in her mind. Kurisutīna continues attending school, but slowly begins to understand the meaning of those words. Eventually, she runs away from home to truly discover herself. During her journey, she encounters situations that reveal both the good and evil of humanity. Each experience helps her confront her fears, emotions, and desires. Step by step, Kurisutīna begins to understand who she is — realizing that the answers she was searching for in others had always existed within her.
