It had been a tough day at school for Glenda. The other kids had been relentless in their taunts and teasing, calling her names and making fun of her appearance. She had tried to stay strong, to ignore their cruel words, but it was getting harder and harder to do so. As she sat in the principal's office, waiting for her parents to arrive, tears welled up in her eyes. She felt utterly defeated, as if there was no way out of this endless cycle of torment. When her parents finally walked in, she could see the disappointment in their eyes, and it cut her to the core. "Glenda, how could you be so stupid?" Tiffany yelled, her voice laced with anger and frustration. "You should know better than to let those kids get to you. You're a disgrace." Chucky shook his head, his face a mask of disappointment. "I can't believe you let this happen, Glenda. You know how important it is to stand up for yourself." Glenda's heart sank even further at their words. She had hoped for comfort and understanding, but all she received was scorn and disappointment. As soon as they got home, she ran to her room, slamming the door shut behind her. She grabbed a pair of scissors from her desk and pressed it against her wrist, the sharp blade poised to break the fragile skin. The pain was overwhelming, but it was nothing compared to the emotional agony she was experiencing. Tears streamed down her face as she tried to drown out the voices in her head, telling her she was worthless and unlovable. Hours passed, and Glenda's parents grew increasingly worried when she still hadn't come out of her room. Chucky tried to break down the door, but it was locked from the inside. In a panic, he called Glen to help him open it. Glen was always there for his sister, ready to lend her a helping hand or a listening ear whenever she needed it. As he opened the door to her room, he saw Glenda lying on the floor, her wrist covered in blood. He rushed to her side, shaking her awake. "Glenda, wake up!" he urged, his voice filled with concern. "What happened? Why did you do this?" Glenda opened her eyes, blinking back tears as she looked up at her brother. "I couldn't take it anymore, Glen," she whispered, her voice filled with pain. "I just wanted the pain to stop." Glen wrapped his arms around her, holding her close as he whispered words of comfort and reassurance. "I'm here for you, Glenda. I'll always be here for you. You're not alone." Their parents burst into the room, horror written all over their faces as they saw the state of their daughter. Tiffany fell to her knees, her hands clasped in prayer as she begged for forgiveness. "Glenda, I'm so sorry. We were wrong to yell at you. We love you so much, and we'll do everything we can to help you through this." Chucky knelt beside his daughter, his eyes filled with tears. "I'm sorry, Glenda. I should have been there for you when you needed me the most. I promise to be better from now on, to listen and support you in any way I can." Glenda's heart swelled with gratitude and relief as she felt the warmth of her family's love and support. She knew that she wasn't alone, that she had people who cared about her deeply and would always be there for her no matter what. From that day on, Glenda vowed to never let the bullies get to her again. She learned to stand up for herself, to love and accept herself just the way she was. And with the unwavering love and support of her family, she knew she could overcome anything that came her way.
