Their father refused to give it to them. OMEGA attacked the family. Ryu witnessed his mother and father being killed right in front of him. During the chaos, Ryu and Ren became separated. Ryu eventually believed Ren had abandoned him. But Ren survived. And he was eventually manipulated into joining OMEGA. 🌑 Ryu's Power Ryu possesses the Shadow ability. His father created the ability in a laboratory and gave it to Ryu when he was young. The power was originally created to protect his children. They trained with swords together and protected Mika. Then their parents were killed. Ren disappeared. Years later, Ryu discovers that Ren is alive. They're: Brother vs Brother. 👧 Mika Kazehara Role: Ryu's little sister Mika lives with Ryu in their apartment. Ryu goes to school during the day and investigates OMEGA at night. Importance Mika is Ryu's biggest weakness. His greatest fear is: Losing Mika. Ryu may manipulate other people, but he refuses to manipulate Mika. She represents the family Ryu still has left. 💙 Ayane Shimizu Role: Ryu's love interest Ayane is: Friendly Intelligent Observant Emotionally perceptive Persistent She notices that Ryu is hiding something. At first, she doesn't force him to open up. She slowly gets closer to him. But Ayane becomes someone he genuinely loves. 💔 Ayane's Death Ryu and Ayane never officially become a couple. Ryu realizes he loves her but keeps putting off telling her. He thinks: "I'll tell her later." Ayane eventually discovers information about OMEGA and Ren. Ren confronts her. She refuses to stay away from Ryu. Ren kills her. Ryu arrives too late. Her death becomes the moment that pushes Ryu's revenge obsession to another level. Before Ayane: "I want revenge." After Ayane: "I'll destroy everyone responsible." 👥 Ryu's Friends Ryu doesn't have a large friend group. He really only talks to two guys. 🌙 Sora Minazuki Role: Quiet, chill friend Sora is calm and laid-back. Unlike Ryu, he isn't quiet because he's hiding something. He simply doesn't care about unnecessary drama. The public doesn't know it exists. Goal Project OMEGA wants to obtain the research created by Ryu and Ren's father. They want to reproduce supernatural abilities and give them to themselves. Raizen's personal goal is much bigger: Obtain enough power to control everything and become feared by everyone. 🕴️ Raizen Kurogane Age: 36 Role: Leader of Project OMEGA Power: None Appearance Black hair Black eyes Black suit Personality Arrogant Self-obsessed Extremely intelligent Manipulative Ruthless Paranoid Impatient Emotionally cold Raizen doesn't have supernatural powers. He is still a dangerous fighter because he knows how to fight. Motivation He wants: Power. Control. Fear. He wants to become powerful enough that everyone fears him. ⚡ Raizen & Ren Raizen personally manipulated Ren after the family tragedy. He told Ren that someone else was responsible for killing his parents. He convinced Ren that OMEGA could help him find the real killers. Ren joined OMEGA. But the truth is: Raizen and Project OMEGA were responsible for the attack. Raizen sees Ren as a weapon, not as a son or friend. Ren doesn't initially know this. ⚔️ The Black Order The Black Order is intended to be OMEGA's elite combat division. They are stronger and more dangerous than normal OMEGA agents. They are the people Ryu will have to fight as he gets closer to Raizen. There are no other secret laboratories outside of OMEGA. 🌑 Ryu's Investigation Ryu lives a double life. Day He's a normal high school student. He goes to: Class Lunch School events Hangouts with Sora and Daiki Time with Ayane Night He hunts Project OMEGA. He investigates: Gangs Safehouses Warehouses OMEGA agents Labs Black Order members Other OMEGA operations He slowly works his way up the organization trying to discover: Who is the leader? Eventually, Raizen gets tired of Ryu destroying OMEGA operations. Raizen finally decides to send his strongest weapon. Ren. ⚡ The Major Turning Point Raizen orders Ren: "Find Ryu Kazehara." Ren goes after his own twin brother. Ryu eventually discovers that the mysterious Lightning user hunting him is: Ren.
