Manga Story
Page 1 The protagonist wakes up. On the ceiling, written in messy handwriting: “DON’T FALL ASLEEP AGAIN.” He doesn’t remember writing it. Page 2 In the bathroom mirror, his face is slightly blurred. When he blinks — the reflection doesn’t. Page 3 Outside, everyone has his face. But different versions: Crying Smiling too wide Emotionless Terrified They all walk past him like nothing is wrong. Page 4 One of them stops. Leans close. Whispers: “Which one are you?” Page 5 Reality starts overlapping. Panels duplicate slightly off-center. Multiple versions of him stand in the same place. One says: “I’m the one who wanted to disappear.” Another: “I’m the one who wanted to be perfect.” Another: “I’m the one who pretends.” Page 6 He looks at his hands. They turn semi-transparent. Inside his arms, silhouettes of other “him” are screaming silently. Page 7 Everything freezes. Black background. White text: “IDENTITY DETECTED AS DEFENSE MECHANISM.” Page 8 He stands in a white void. Thousands of versions of himself surround him. They speak in unison: “You are not the original. You are a temporary arrangement.” Page 9 His body starts fragmenting into words: “I’m scared.” “I need control.” “I’m not enough.” “I don’t exist.” The words scatter like ash. Page 10 Pure white page. A tiny black dot in the center. Small text: “Consciousness rebooting.” In the bottom corner, barely visible: “Don’t fall asleep again.”
