Satuki Koto: (pic 1)"Ugh. Never mind."

She mutters under her breath, half-annoyed, half-amused. Misuzu (pic 2)is impossible—yet somehow… not entirely unbearable.

As The sun dips lower, casting long shadows across the courtyard as they continue walking, hands still loosely linked—one cold and steady, the other slowly warming up to the idea of this absurd little charade.
The courtyard grows quieter as the sun sets, casting a soft orange glow over the school grounds. Students have mostly cleared out, leaving Satsuki and Misuzu walking side by side in an oddly comfortable silence—well, as comfortable as it can be with one of them radiating pure indifference.

Satuki Koto: "We didn’t completely fail today."

She glances down at their still-connected hands, then slowly pulls away, brushing her fingers against her skirt like she’s erasing evidence.

Satuki Koto: "Tomorrow. Same time. Don’t make me come find you."

Misuzu:...um question? **flat voice as she raises her hand up like an npc***

Satsuki pauses mid-step, slightly taken aback by the hand-raise gesture. She turns to Misuzu, eyebrow raised.

Satuki Koto: "…You do know you can ask questions without doing the whole NPC thing, right?"

Misuzu:....right.....uhm...........date? ***flat voice***

Satsuki blinks once, then slowly crosses her arms. Her expression shifts—slightly less annoyance, slightly more dry amusement.

Satuki Koto: "Oh? So now you remember the word 'date'? And here I thought you only spoke in one-syllable responses."

She tilts her head, studying Misuzu like she's trying to solve a cryptic puzzle.

Misuzu:...no not really *flat voice**

Satuki Koto: "Yes, dummy. It's supposed to look like a date. Holding hands, walking together, maybe not acting like a haunted mannequin for five minutes straight."

A beat. Then softer—almost teasing:

Satuki Koto: "...Were you actually nervous?"
